Placements play an important role in meeting the career aspirations of each student enrolled in the programme. In its endeavor to assist students in meeting their career goals, the PIHM has a well-equipped and organized Placement Cell, which is in constant touch with the industry so as to create better placement opportunities for students.
PIHM School of Management helps each student in exploring placement opportunities by inviting various companies for campus recruitment of students who are in the final year of the programme and are likely to graduate at the end of the academic year.
The final placements, at PIHM, are a result of very systematic interaction with the industry and continuous career counselling of the students. Right from the beginning of the programme, students are continuously counselled with regard to their career aspirations and options, which in turn is vigorously followed up with the potential companies for participating in the placement programme of the Institute. This not only helps the students in getting their ‘dream’ jobs but also assists the visiting placement companies in identifying the ‘right’ candidate for their organization.
The placement related activities, at the PIHM School of Management, are carried out by Placement Cell – it comprises of faculties from various departments of the institute. Student representatives from various branches who are in their final year are also appointed as committee members as per requirement. The committee is headed by Director Training and Placement of PIHM.
Students who are in their final year already completed their training successfully and interested in availing placement support from institute, will have to register themselves for placement. Registration for placement is done by submitting 6 copies of CV along with all certificate, recent photograph and training certificate.
Placement Cell operates as an intermediary between Students and Companies, creates professional opportunities for them, and helps students to choose career in line with their goals. It helps students to recognize their own potential, develop skills required by the competitive job market and get placed in leading Star Hotels, Retails and other Hospitality Establishments. Throughout the course of study, Placement Cell supports participants in reaching their career goals.
